Intercambio Erasmus +. Esdir – School of Art & Design, GDUT, Guangzhou, China.
El lunes 28 de enero, y por cuatro meses, visitan la Escuela Superior de Diseño en Logroño, Li Zhang, profesora del departamento de diseño industrial; Lin Qiuli, Liang Tingting, Long Yiping and Chen Meiqiong, estudiantes de diseño industrial en la Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. Aprovecharán su estancia en España, disfrutando de varias becas Erasmus+ en la Esdir, y una beca para prácticas en la empresa Teinnova.
Las cinco son miembros del proyecto DownloadOpenDesign, plataforma de comunicación multicultural, de resolución de problemas de diseño y de desarrollo de productos, bajo una perspectiva colaborativa y de investigación conjunta; que se desarrolla desde 2015 entre las dos escuelas.
Debido a la distancia entre países esta comunidad de trabajo, esta red de co-creación, se comunica a través de redes sociales e internet, pero en esta ocasión el intercambio se produce a nivel personal. Les damos la bienvenida a la Esdir con una conferencia impartida por Li el lunes 28 a las 11:00 en el Salón de actos de la Esdir bajo el título Exploring bamboo y completa su visita interviniendo en el taller Open Design + DIY con los alumnos de 2º de Producto. Las tres alumnas se integrarán en la rutina de escuela hasta finalizar el cuatrimestre, y rematamos el intercambio con la realización de prácticas en empresa por parte de otra de las alumnas.
El proyecto de colaboración entre la Esdir y la School of Art & Design en Guangzhou comienza en 2015, por iniciativa de Enrique Aparisi, diseñador industrial, bajo la filosofía Open design, basada en la democratización del diseño con el acceso gratuito a diferentes productos y diseños a través de nuestra web downloadopendesign y en Do it yourself: creación productos poco complejos, manufacturables a nivel doméstico con herramienta básica, y adaptados a los materiales disponibles a nivel local.
Después de 4 años compartiendo y trabajando juntos el proyecto ha crecido e incluye más de 200 productos de estudiantes chinos y españoles. Os animamos a descargar, fabricar, mejorar o modificar cualquiera de ellos.

On Monday, January 28th, and for five months, 5 coworkers from GDUT, China, are visiting us: Zhang Li, professor in the industrial design department; Lin Qiuli, Liang Tingting, Long Yiping and Chen Meiqiong, students of industrial design in the Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. They are taking advantage of their stay in Spain, enjoying five Erasmus+ scholarships in the Esdir, and an internship in a company, Teinnova.
They are members of the Download OpenDesign project, multicultural communication platform, solving design problems in coordination and product development from a collaborative perspective and joint research; which has been developed since 2015 within the two Colleges.
The co-creation network is communicating through social networks and the internet, but this time, the exchange is in a personal level. We welcome them you to the Esdir with a lecture given by Li on Monday 28th at 11:00 in the Esdir Conference Hall under the title Exploring Bamboo and she will complete her visit taking part in the workshop OpenDesign+DIY with the students of 2nd grade of Product Design. The three students will be integrated into the routine of our school until the end of the semester, and the exchange will be completed with the realization of the practices in Teinnova.
The collaborative project between the School of Art and Design in Guangzhou begins in 2015, under the initiative of Enrique Aparisi, industrial designer, using the philosophy of Open Design: democratization of design with free access to different products and designs through our website downloadopendesign; and Do it yourself: creation of less complex products, products manufactured at home with basic tools, adapted to raw materials available locally.
After 4 years of sharing and working together, the project has grown and includes more than 200 products from Chinese and Spanish students. We encourage you to download, make, improve or modify any of them.
