Hi, my name is Roxana, i’m coming from Romania and I studied one semester at ESDIR. Even if at the beginning I wasn’t so sure that I want to leave my country, my university, my family and my friends for going in a foreign country, now, that i finished my “Erasmus experience” I’m sure it was the best choise for my interior design knowledges and not only. Here I meet a lot of great people and I made new friends with whom I spent a good time and have a lot of fun. I think people here are very friendly and hospitable. But what I liked the most from this experience was ESDIR. This school gives you so many opportunities to develop yourself as a good designer. Starting with the teachers that work with patience, calm and understanding for their students, offering a lot of freedom in order to develop their students creativity; the trips organized by the school; contests and exhibitions; and last but not least teambuilding, personal development and meetings with famous designers in “Project week” and conferences. I also loved the school library which is updated with the latest design magazines and books full of precious information . Being here, for me, was a good lesson of “enjoy the life and live the moment” and a lesson of personal and career development.

Mi Erasmus en Logroño fue una experiencia muy fuerte que me ha permitido conocer a una nueva cultura en la cual me he integrado perfectamente. Siempre llevarè conmigo este mundo que he descubierto. Ademas ha sido genial conocer a otros estudiantes y vivir junto a ellos como una grande familia.
Estos meses fueron muy intensos, entre los viajes por España, el trabajo escolar que me enseñó a trabajar de una manera diferente y la gente linda que conocí.
He sido muy afortunada por haber podido participar en esta experiencia!

DAINA BROKANE
"My names is Daina Brokane and I am from Latvia (Letonia), I studied in Logroño for 5 months in spring of 2011. It was a wonderful time in my life, not only becouse of exciting travel opportunities, but also becouse of the great schoolmates and creative atmosphere in school. Logrono is a pleasant, quiet (except on Friday evenings:) city. I had the opportunity to travel to the south of Spain, it was amazing to visit cities like Sevilla, Cadiz and others. Also I am very deeply moved by the beautiful nature of La Rioja, I realy hope to return and I know, I will..."

"When finishing the semester in ESDIR I'm really pleased to realise that I've gained such a varied and precious experience in such a short time. The study period was really intense due to extra things I had to manage as exchange student: learning and understanding spanish, getting to know the technical side of the design, seeing Spain. I'm very thankful to all my professors of ESDIR and Nuria for their knowledge and support- it means me a lot in my life!"

“La experiencia Erasmus en España fue una de las mejores cosas que me han pasado desde que soy estudiante. España te conquista con gente positiva y amable, con el ambiente... y al final te das cuenta que queda un sabor a miel en la boca y te dan ganas de sentirlo más y más...
El encuentro con el colectivo profesoral de la ESDIR es tan abierto que me dio la confianza de comunicarme libremente y sentirme como uno de vosotros, aunque al principio el idioma era un obstáculo para mantener relaciones verbales. Lo mismo paso con los compañeros y los alumnos de la escuela. Ttenía muchas ganas de conocerlos y al final respondieron muy amistosamente. Me encantó entrar en contacto con las actividades tan diferentes e interactivas que se organizaron durante este tiempo. Nunca olvidare los 4 meses que pasé ahí.
Estoy muy contenta con mi elección... y estoy segura que esta experiencia es un paso más para mi profesión, y que abrió muchas oportunidades para mi futuro. Muchísimas gracias a ESDIR para la oportunidad......y espero el día en que nos volvamos a encontrar .........."
