APPLICATION AND ADMISSION AS INCOMING ERASMUS STUDENT

ERASMUS 2012/2013
Once you have been selected by your home institution, you should send the application form to ESDIR together with your CV and portfolio of works. The applications for the first semester or the whole year should arrive at ESDIR before June 10th. If your chosen period of stay is the second semester in your home institution, then the deadline would be November 30th.

Within a couple of weeks you would receive the confirmation of your acceptance/refusal as a student at the ESDIR. In case you are accepted, you should send to ESDIR the provisional learning agreement with the choice of subjects.

London Trip
FEB. 22, 2012
From January 23rd to 27th, a group of students enrolled in the subject English visited London accompanied by the teachers Mariví Sotés, Miryam González and Nuria Alfaro. After our late arrival on Monday, we started our activities on Tuesday with a walk from our cosy hostel through the Southbank area. The heavy rain allowed us to see some of the highlights in the area and we could enjoy a visit to the great Tate Modern and the Design Museum, which exhibited a small but excellent selection of Terence Conran work. In the afternoon, some found the British Museum the best way to hide from the rain.
Wednesday 24th started on the Parliament area, going up to Trafalgar Square and visiting quickly the National Gallery and the National Portrait gallery. The morning finished stopping at the Royal Academy of Arts.

Casting de modelos.

El pasado día 9 de febrero tuvo lugar el casting de modelos para el primer desfile de Moda de la Esdir del 31 de mayo, y que estará autorizado por el prestigioso diseñador Antonio Miró.
Asamblea informativa sobre la sentencia del Tribunal Supremo que modifica el decreto de los estudios de Grado
FEB. 15, 2012
El próximo viernes a las 10,30h y en el salón de actos de la Esdir, el director Ricardo González dará una charla explicativa para los alumnos de grado que quieran asisistir.
En ella se tratará todo lo relativo a la sentencia del Tribunal Supremo que modifica el Real Decreto por el que se regulan los estudios de Grado. También estará presente el inspector de educación de la Esdir.
Proyecto “Desmeem” dirigido a diseñadores europeos

El MENA Design Research Center del Líbano ha puesto en marcha “Desmeem”, un proyecto que acoge a diseñadores europeos en el Líbano durante tres meses para trabajar con diseñadores y organizaciones árabes sin fines de lucro con la intención de crear mejores soluciones para los problemas sociales y ambientales del mundo árabe. Los resultados finales de todos los equipos participantes serán exhibidos, y los mejores diseños serán patrocinados para su producción y puesta en práctica.

Daniel Gil. Los mil rostros del libro

El pasado viernes, con motivo de la exposición "Daniel Gil. Los mil rostros del libro", un grupo de 43 estudiantes y 3 profesoras de la especialidad de Diseño Gráfico desafiamos las inclemencias del invierno visitando Santander. Allí nos recibiría Emmanuel Gimeno de "Creando", estudio al cargo de la muestra, quien ejerció como anfitrión de las más de 500 cubiertas recopiladas.
